How We Serve — In the local community

Radio Worship Program

For those people that are unable to be at church on Sunday, Epworth has a weekly radio broadcast that allows the sermon to be aired live from 9:30am to 10:00am on KVLV AM980.

Fallon Daily Bread

Volunteers from Epworth, and the community as a whole, prepare and serve a hot meal to anyone that walks through the door each Monday and Thursday night between 5:30pm and 6:30pm. An average of 100 people come to eat this meal. Often the patrons are seniors or families trying to stretch their monthly budget.  Others come for the companionship or because they live in circumstances that won’t allow for home cooking.  The only requirement to receive a meal is to show up.  Although Fallon Daily Bread is a ministry of Epworth, support for this work is received through donations of time, food, and money from many individuals, church groups, and service organizations in our community.  If you would like to volunteer please contact Kathy Fraker at 867-3095. Food donations can be arranged by calling Ron Evans at 427-6648.

Epworth Community Food Pantry

Each Monday from 10:00 to 1pm non-perishable food items are available for those in the community that need a little extra help putting food on their family table. Occasionally, clothing, hygenie products, and other supplies are available too. For more information contact the church office at 423-4714.

HeLP Ministry

When people turn to this church seeking help, we want to be able to make a difference. The difference may be to offer prayers, welcome them into a loving fellowship, or provide some small financial assistance. The goal of our HeLP Ministry is to turn to God, seek his wisdom, and give what is available...even if that is simply a hug. In order to receive help, we only require that you come to our office and fill out an assistance application. We will then discuss with you the circumstances and needs. After a moment of prayer, an answer of whether help can be provided or not, will be given to the applicant. For more information contact Ashlee at 423-4714.

Prayer Tree Program

Our members believe in the strength of prayer.  We have multiple ways for our congregation to pray for your needs.  Requests for prayer can be sent by Email to hithere148@charter.net or a phone call can be made to the church office 423-4714.  From there your prayer need will be prayed over by three different prayer teams.
